Cara Mengaplikasikan Cat Polyurethane

Cat polyurethane adalah terdiri atas dua komponen, yaitu cat dan hardener. Cat polyurethane biasanya digunakan untuk menutup atau pelapis permukaan kayu. Daya kilapnya sangat tinggi, khususnya pada tipe clear gloss. Keunggulan material Polyurethane, terutama cat ini, juga sangat transparan, sehingga tetap menampilkan tekstur kayu.

  5. Wood filler digunakan untuk mengisi pori-pori kayu. Tunggu sampai kering, kemudian amplas dengan kertas nomor 240.
  6. Wood stain diaplikasikan sebagai pewarna kayu.
  7. Sanding sealer dapat disemprotkan sekali sampai dua kali sebagai cat dasar, lalu tunggu hingga kering. Amplas kembali secara mengambang dengan kertas nomor 360.
  8. Sebagai top coat, semprotkan sekali dengan penampilan clear satin, clear gloss atau clear dof sesuai yang Anda inginkan.
  9. Setelah 6-8 jam dan cat sudah kering, amplas dengan kertas nomor 400. Kemudian semprot dengan top coat untuk kedua kalinya.

Teknik menggunakan metode ini sebenarnya tidak jauh berbeda dengan metode chrome yang ada di pinggir jalan, yaitu dengan menggunakan electrochemical plating, atau menggunakan Flame Arc Coting. Namun yang membedakan aalah bahan pelapis yang digunakan. Untuk melapisi bahan yang satu ini, biasanya menggunakan Chromium murni, yang memiliki tingkat kekerasan yang cukup tinggi. Dimana Chromium murni ini memiliki kandungan Vanadium dan juga Silica Dioxide, kedua kandungan ini hampir setara dengan Nikasil Diasil atau Diamond Hardness.

Untuk proses coating yang dilakukan menggunkan metode electroplating, biasanya proses yang satu ini digunakan oleh industrial hardchrome.

Fungsi Nickle Chrome

Nickle Chrome sendiri adalah salah satu metode yang digunakan dalam plating service, namun yang membedakan antara nickel Chrome dengan hard Chrome adalah bahan pelapis yang digunakan. Dimana untuk Nickle Crome ini bahan yang digunakan adalah nikel dan juga Chrome. Sedangkan untuk fungsi, tidak jauh berbeda dengan hard chrome. Dimana Nickle chrome ini dapat mencegah karat dan juga korosi. Seperti diketahui, nikel sendiri adalah salah satu bahan yang tidak mudah berkarat, selain itu bahan yang satu ini juga tahan terhadap larutan elektrolit. Ini yang membuat bahan tidak mudah rusak, aus, bahkan tetap terlihat menghilap.

Yang disebut dengan fungsi anodizing dalam plating service adalah proses memberikan warna logam alumunium pada perlengkapan industry yang akan digunakan.
